Commercial customers can purchase vehicle-specific and vehicle-related services and data to optimise their fleets or to design new products and business models. Car and van fleet operators are among the customers, as are their service providers, car rental companies, leasing companies and insurance companies, as well as neutral server, app and software developers. The following exciting tasks await you:

Holistic responsibility for the area of Business Development & Internationalisation, including leadership and responsibility for turnover, with a direct reporting line to the Chief Executive Officer.

Planning, monitoring and ensuring budgets and forecasts for your area of responsibility.

Developing and establishing joint business models with international clients and partners in coordination with Legal, Tax & Data Protection departments as well as executing a professional partner management.

Placing new products on the market and achieving growth targets together with your team through consistent sales management and customer presence.

Development and implementation of an international growth strategy taking new sales approaches into account.

Developing a deep understanding of customers and markets and representing customers, market developments, trends and competitive activities within the Mercedes-Benz organisation with your team.

Responsibility for strategic projects jointly with Mercedes-Benz AG through your deep understanding of the automotive and software industry.

Integral part of the Mercedes-Benz Data Team and representation of the Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH in respective committees.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in the field of business informatics, economics or comparable studies.

Several years of professional experience (at least 10 years), ideally in a leadership position, in the area of business development, sales or in the development of digital business models.

Proven track record of acquiring partners and key accounts.

Relevant experience in managing employees and working with interdisciplinary teams.

Knowledge of the potential value of (vehicle) data and related applications.

Strong analytical and methodological skills, a high level of comprehension and confidence in dealing with highly complex issues.

Strong situational communication skills, enthusiasm and strong customer and success orientation.

Good project management skills

Very good knowledge of German and English in written and spoken.

Enthusiasm for a dynamic and volatile environment.

High willingness to travel.
