Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act more sustainably or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from more than 100 measuring points and signals inside and outside of more than 14 million connected Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The Stuttgart-based company has about 60 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.
The Product Management & Service Delivery team is responsible for the successful introduction of data-based products and services in the B2B Connectivity area throughout the entire product life cycle, including ensuring technical support and monitoring. With its numerous interfaces to other departments and interdisciplinary project teams, the team is well connected within the corporation.
The following exciting tasks await you:
You will support the Product Management team in the customer-oriented and profitable marketing of a new fleet management solution that will be integrated into the B2B connectivity portfolio of Mercedes-Benz AG for passenger cars and vans.
As a representative of the customer and sales, you will integrate business requirements into the product development process and support the shaping of the product vision and the incorporation of market and customer feedback into the product development process.
You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Legal, Finance, Processes & Systems teams as well as the Product Owner to ensure an efficient implementation of the customer journey and the product vision.
You will determine product prices based on business case analyses, e.g. using cost structures, sales forecasts and customer willingness to pay.
You will participate in regular sprint reviews and provide feedback on the development of customer-oriented features.
You will support the regular consideration of product lifecycle-relevant metrics and incorporate them into the further design of the product.
You will continuously gather product feedback through appropriate feedback channels (internal/external) and monitor competitors' activities and market trends.
You will bring high-priority topics to relevant management committees for decision-making and provide status updates.
Successfully completed studies in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, preferably with an international focus.
First professional experience in product management, product strategy or product-related portfolio management, preferably related to digital services.
Understanding of the concept of agile software development and ability to apply this understanding to the area of responsibility.
Strong analytical and methodological skills combined with empathy, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer orientation.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications and collaboration tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Mural.
Excellent command of both German and English (spoken and written).
Enthusiasm for topics related to automobiles, digital services, automotive apps, and telematics.
Team player with a high degree of initiative.
