Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act more sustainably or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from more than 100 measuring points and signals inside and outside of more than 14 million connected Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The Stuttgart-based company has about 60 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.

The Product Management & Service Delivery team is responsible for the successful introduction of data-based products and services in the B2B Connectivity area throughout the entire product life cycle, including ensuring technical support and monitoring. With its numerous interfaces to other departments and interdisciplinary project teams, the team is well connected within the corporation.

The following exciting tasks await you:

You are responsible for the successful introduction of a new fleet management solution that will be integrated into the B2B connectivity portfolio of Mercedes-Benz AG for passenger cars and vans.

You will work closely with the Product Management, UX, Engineering & Technology (DevOps) and Corporate Functions teams to ensure efficient implementation of the product vision and a stable performance of your product.

You are responsible for analyzing and detailing business requirements (e.g. product visions, epics, customer feedback) into user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, etc. and prioritizing their implementation in coordination with your stakeholders for sprint planning.

You will develop concepts and features along the agile development process in interdisciplinary teams and define, for example, the scope of proof of concepts and MVPs within the feature roadmap.

You will continuously gather product feedback through appropriate feedback channels (internal/external) and evaluate their implementation together with the team.

You will define relevant metrics, evaluate and incorporate them into product development.

You will bring high-priority topics to relevant management committees for decision-making and provide status updates.

You will attend customer meetings to present product-specific updates and gather feedback.

Your profile

Several years of professional experience (> 5 years) in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital products, ideally in the role of a Product Owner.

Proficient application of agile software development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).

Strong analytical and methodological skills combined with empathy, excellent communication abilities, and a strong customer orientation.

Proficient use of collaboration tools, such as Jira and Confluence.

Very good command of both German and English (spoken and written).

Enthusiasm for topics related to automobiles, digital services, automotive apps, and telematics.

Team player with a high degree of initiative.
