Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act more sustainably or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from more than 100 measuring points and signals inside and outside of more than 14 million connected Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The Stuttgart-based company has about 60 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.
We are the Engineering & Technology Team and we are looking for a Test Engineer (m/f/d). We are an experienced and passionate team being in charge to develop and operate data-driven, award-winning digital products and innovative IOT services with cloud native microservices for business customers of Mercedes-Benz. We are working agile, delivering new features to our customers with every sprint using our automated CI/CD pipeline.
The following exciting tasks await you:
Assure high quality of our digital products.
Actively contribute to the definition and implementation of our test strategy.
Systematically derive test cases from user stories and requirements in close cooperation with developers, support and product owners in our agile team.
Independently implement automated test cases for frontend, component, integration, system and acceptance tests.
Maintain and improve our framework of automated test scripts.
Assist in selecting and adapting test tools.
Conduct test drives in the context of acceptance tests.
Your profile
You have several years of professional experience in software testing, especially in frontend and API testing.
You have good knowledge in using test tools, like ReadyAPI, Postman, Locust, Gatling and Web UI Test frameworks.
You have a deep understanding of current standards and technologies, such as TCP, REST and Kafka.
You have good programming skills in Java, Groovy and Scripting languages.
You have experience in non-functional testing, like load and performance tests, recovery tests and resilience tests, and you have basic knowledge about the Azure cloud.
You have achieved the ISTQB certification foundation level or a higher level.
You are eager to learn new methods and technologies.
You are fluent in English, German is a plus.
You have a valid drivers license for passenger cars (at least Germany Class B).
